July 2014: Holstein Calf show

Scottish breeder Colin Laird will judge the Holstein entry at this year’s 12th annual multi-breed dairy calf show.

The one-day event takes place at the Pedigree Sales Arena, Moira, on Saturday 23rd August, commencing at 10am sharp.

Entries close on Friday 1st August. Completed entry forms must be accompanied by the relevant entry fees and returned to HYB secretary Kate McCormick.

Calf Show

July 2014: Entries invited for 2014 Baileys championship

The search is on for the 2014 Baileys Champion Dairy Cow.The competition organised by Diageo in association with Glanbia Ingredients Ireland Ltd, boasts a prize fund of 10,000 Euros, and will be staged at Virginia Show on Wednesday 20th August.
